Principal Letter

Greetings Riverside Brookfield Parents and Students, 

 

Paws Up, Woof, Woof, Woof! Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Our #1 priority is to offer the students, the Bulldogs, the best high school experience possible, but that can only be accomplished if we work together. Working together in action is attending events, participating in committees, supporting school initiatives, and, more importantly, being present and active in the lives of the students.  

 

The policies, procedures, and guidelines presented in this handbook are put forward to strengthen the educational experience for students at Riverside-Brookfield High School. Annually, this handbook is updated, so a critical review of its contents is necessary for all stakeholders, especially students and parents.  

 

In addition, this handbook is a personal planner for students.  It will serve as a tool to help students organize, plan, and manage one’s time. These skills are called “Executive Functioning” skills, necessary for everyone’s success in college and careers. The teachers and staff will expect students to utilize this planner to record daily assignments and long-term assessments or projects.  Research has shown that developing “Executive Functioning” skills and goal-setting habits helps people reach their potential. We know that if this planner is used daily, it will contribute to students’ academic success.  

 

Finally, this handbook communicates the values that form the foundation of this educational institution.  Riverside Brookfield High School is a school that has high expectations for all students, offers a wide variety of educational courses, athletics, and extracurricular activities to match students’ interests, and provides the support and caring that assists students in reaching their potential to grow and develop.  We look forward to working together so the students, the Bulldogs, and your sons and daughters will experience excellence in their educational experience.
