Career Clusters - Career clusters link what students learn at RBHS with the knowledge and skills they need for success in college and careers.  They also identify pathways from RBHS to 2- and 4- year colleges, graduate school, and the workplace, so students can learn in school and what they can do in the future. 

CareerPathways - Why progressive pathways? Explore high growth career fields in tech, healthcare, retail, culinary, and many other areas through hands-on training. Earn more money, sooner as all programs are 2 years or less. Many programs are at a reduced cost, free, or even offer paid training.

DVR Programs of Study - A "Program of Study" lays out the courses you must or should take at RBHS so you are ready to take on the college courses that will get you what you want in a career.

CareerBuilder.com - Provides a searchable jobs database, resume posting service, online job fair information, and industry specific employment information.  The college connection has internship information and employment resources for college and graduate students, as well as high school students who are planning ahead.

CISCO - CISCO's Education-to-Careers program was developed to provide interested individuals and educators with information on union apprenticeship programs. This site provides information on testing, application availability, working conditions, entry procedures, and skills necessary to succeed in a union apprenticeship program.

Education Planner - Use this as another means to explore the many options compatible with your outlook and the vision of your future.

IDES - The Illinois Department of Employment Security website provides several online tools for career exploration, access to current labor market reports and other workforce and occupational information that can be useful in making career decisions.

Occupational Outlook Handbook - When considering potential college majors, students may check out employment trends in the electronic version of the Occupational Outlook Handbook.  The entire handbook is searchable by keyword.

 

O*Net Online - This database includes information on skills, abilities, knowledge, work activities, and interests associated with occupations.

 

Spa Beauty Schools - For aspiring spa professionals, the site offers detailed information on their educational options within their zip codes, informational resources, and articles highlighting career paths, profiles, as well as strategies for success.
