EMERGE
Free five-day training course for those who wish to become Energy Efficiency Technicians with a certification by the nationally-recognized Building Performance Institute. Earnings start at $20-25 in this growing field, and job placement has been solidified for those successfully completing the program.
 
EMERGE will run four cohorts this year, and one next year at the Local Iron Workers Union in Broadview.  (Participants do not need to join the Union; it is simply the location of the training.)  There are only 10 slots available per cohort so I would encourage interested students to apply promptly. The attached flyer has a QR code that links directly to the EMERGE application.
WONDERVERSE is a new 55,000 sq. ft. entertainment venue with a restaurant and multiple different attractions in Oak Brook Center.  See the attached flyer for all the available part-time positions, starting pay is $15 -17 an hour.

SportsKids Inc. provides youth sports programing to various park districts in the Chicago suburbs. The company covers a wide variety of sports. They are looking for part-time coaches to teach tot and youth sports and gymnastics classes. Must be reliable, enjoy working with children and able to work days and/or evenings.
Knowledge of sports and experience with teaching children a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
