School Safety Security Officer(s)

Ed Petrak is a retired police officer and former police chief with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement. He is certified under the Illinois Retired Officers Conceal Carry program and is authorized by the School Board to carry a concealed weapon while on campus. This position was designed to assist the administration in providing a safe and secure learning environment for all stakeholders. The School Safety & Security Officer serves as a liaison between the School District and the local police departments.

Dave Rohlicek has 28 years of experience in law enforcement as a police officer, police chief, and school resource officer. As a retired police officer, he is certified under the Illinois Retired Officers Conceal Carry program and is authorized by the School Board to carry a concealed weapon while on campus. This position was designed to assist the administration and School Safety & Security Officer in providing a safe and secure learning environment for all stakeholders.

Dan Marrello has 21 years of law enforcement experience with the Riverside Police Department and Cook County Jail. He was also a certified Juvenile Officer and School Resource Officer. As a retired police officer, Dan is certified under the Illinois Retired Officers Conceal Carry program and is authorized by the School Board to carry a concealed weapon while on campus. This position was designed to assist the administration and the School Safety & Security Officer in providing all stakeholders with a safe and secure learning environment during afternoon and evening hours.
