The Student Association Coat & Blanket Drive officially kicks off today!  Please consider donating your gently used and new coats of all sizes, blankets, gloves, scarves, hats and winter boots.  Donations can be dropped off in any of the wrapped boxes located in the Commons Area, or in one of the following teacher's classrooms - Ms Mynaugh, Ms Ziola, Mr. Dybas, Ms. Koehler's or Mr. Forberg.  THANK YOU for helping!!!

This year Tech Club will be presenting a radio show, on stage for the beginning of the holiday season, the show is  “It’s a Wonderful Life” .  We are looking for anyone interested in ACTING OR PLAYING FOLEY for this show.  Signups for auditions with be Friday, 11/18 after school in the Little Theater.  Auditions are on Monday, 11/21, in the Little Theater.This is a low-time commitment, and will be a great way to work on your public speaking skills! In honor of day 4 of Kindness Week, tomorrow, Thursday, November 17, we encourage all staff and students to wear something that shows their interest, please make sure it is school appropriate whether it's your favorite band, musician, movie, tv show, video game, athletic team, favorite color, etc. and find someone wearing something that matches your interest and say hello! If you want to go the extra mile, take a photo and submit it to the Student Services Instagram account to be featured!

Attention  Juniors:

All juniors will be taking an Official Practice SAT tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15th, during periods 1 through 4. Students should report to the Fieldhouse tomorrow morning, where they will be directed to their seats. Because the testing will not end until close to 11:45am, juniors with Lunch 4 or 4D will eat during Lunch 5. All others should report to their normal lunch period. Accommodated students should have received slips yesterday to give them more information about their testing location.  Their testing will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday from Periods 1-3. Students, please arrive at your assigned testing location before the start of the first period. Don’t forget your calculators and #2 pencils and erasers. No phones, Smartwatches, or backpacks will be allowed in the testing centers, so please leave them in your lockers. Please bring a sweatshirt, as the testing rooms can sometimes be chilly.

The ski and snowboard club is back! Our first trip is scheduled for Friday, Dec 23rd. We will be going to Chestnut Mountain in Galena. No experience is required. We will begin writing Cards for the Veterans today in all lunches.  Please stop by the table in the lunchroom and write a card.  Cards will be delivered later this month to the Hines Hospital patients and the Veterans at the Fisher House. The card writing will continue through Friday.  Thank you for writing a Holiday card for a Veteran.
