IHSA No-Contact Week Update

Hello Bulldog Families and Future Bulldog Families,

We would like to share an important update regarding recent changes to IHSA bylaws. One key change involves the “No-Contact Week”, during which no sports, practices, or organized athletic activities are permitted. Previously held during the first week of August, the no-contact week will now take place during the week of the Fourth of July, beginning this summer. For 2026, the no-contact week will be June 29 through July 5.

We recognize that this is a significant change from past IHSA guidelines. We are working closely with our coaches to be mindful and flexible of this change in regard to summer camps, understanding that some families may have already scheduled vacations or other commitments during the first week of August. While our summer camp schedule has not yet been finalized, we will thoughtfully consider the impact of this change as we plan camps this first year.
