Every 3rd Thursday, the library is hosting a program that is open to classes in all departments. Today the library will be once again throwing a book trailer movie party. The theme of these book trailers is Banned Books in honor of Banned Books Week next week. The 15 minute playlist will be played twice each hour, so stop by for the first showing the beginning of the hour or the second showing during the middle of the hour. Happy week before Banned Books Week!

When high school student Clay Jenkins receives a box in the mail containing thirteen cassette tapes recorded by his classmate Hannah, who committed suicide, he spends a bewildering and heartbreaking night crisscrossing their town, listening to Hannah's voice recounting the events leading up to her death.

SOME COMMUNITY INFORMATION ABOUT THE EXPLORER PROGRAM
The Riverside Police Explorer Post #390 will be hosting their first meeting of the season on September 23rd. It will take place at the Riverside Department of Public Works, 3860 Columbus Drive from 7:30pm-9:30pm. The Explorer Program is a program designed to introduce area youth to a career in law enforcement through a cooperative effort between the Boy Scouts of America, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 39 and the Village of Riverside. Any youth aged 14-20 who are interested in a career in law enforcement are invited to join us to learn more about the program.
