FACT: EVERY YEAR, DURING THE SECOND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER
the U.S. Congress designated a national ‘Arts in Education Week’, calling on all elected officials from across the United States to raise awareness of the value and importance of arts in education.
Please help the Art Department celebrate dance, music, theater, and the visual arts by doing one creative thing each day this week.
Today, try to communicate something to your family using only your facial expressions, gestures, and body movements. PANTOMIME is today's creative challenge. Your family might thank you for the break from the sound of your voice, they work out their creative muscles by interpreting your message, and you learn the many avenues of personal expression.

FRENCH CLUB ANNUAL PETANQUE TOURNAMENT IS TOMORROW AT 3:15 IN ROOM 204
Have you ever wondered how it would feel like to live in Southern France surrounded by beautiful countryside, enchanting painters and tasty foods?
Well, le Club de Français will escort you on a trip to a Southern tradition: the game of Pétanque, played before dinner on all the villages' plazas.

We will meet in 204 and then move to the baseball field on sandy grounds.
