​Attention Seniors!
The Des Plaines Valley Region (DVR) is proud to announce a partnership with Hire 360 to offer a targeted virtual prep course for seniors interested in pursuing a career in the trades.
As many apprenticeship programs require rigorous entrance exams, this three-evening intensive is designed to help students master the skills needed to succeed on aptitude tests for various trades.
Program Details
- Dates: February 24, 25, and 26, 2026 (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
- Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Format: Virtual
- Requirement: Students must attend all three evenings to complete the program.
Why Participate?
In addition to test preparation, students who participate in this complimentary course will gain access to long-term support from Hire 360, including mentorship and assistance with navigating the application process for various trade unions.
Registration Process
For students to receive the virtual course link, they must complete a two-step registration process by Friday, February 20, 2026:
- Complete the DVR Interest Form
- Register with Hire 360
