Applied Arts teacher Mrs. Patty Sarkady has earned National Board Certification in Career and Technical Education from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards! National Board Certification is considered one of the most respected professional credentials in U.S. education. To earn it, educators voluntarily complete an in-depth, multi-part process that includes submitting classroom videos, student work samples, reflective writing, and a content knowledge assessment. Because it requires extensive time, analysis, and evidence gathering over several years, it is widely viewed as one of the most challenging professional accomplishments in education. We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Sarkady for her hard work, passion, and dedication to grow as an educator! RB is fortunate to have her!
