STUDENT ASSOCIATION                                                                          On Wednesday, all freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have the opportunity to vote for their 2025-26 Class Officers and Exec Board of the Student Association. Ballots will be in your email again, this is on Wednesday!  

If you would like to find out more about getting involved in the Student Association, then you can attend our meeting tomorrow at 7:20 am in the Study Hall Room #223.  ALL are welcome!

We have our 3rd and final blood drive of the school year on Friday, May 2nd. Blood Drive sign-ups are TOMORROW in all lunches.  Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. Ready to Donate?  Please sign-up on WEDNESDAY for RB’s Blood Drive.  It will be next Friday, May 2 just outside the Main Entrance in the Mobile trucks.  THANK YOU!

When you attend – TODAY’s Girls Lacrosse, Wednesday’s Boys Volleyball or Thursday’s Boys Lacrosse,  you'll score raffle tickets! That's right, FREE raffle tickets just for cheering on your fellow Bulldogs!

Here's how to win:

  • Be There, Be Loud, Be Proud! 
  • Flash Your RB Student ID to the Student Association Representative near the entrance.
  • Claim your TWO raffle tickets:
    • Ticket #1: goes into the drawing for awesome halftime prizes! Gift cards or team merch! You've got to be present to claim your prize!
    • Grand Prize Ticket: enters you into the drawing for our colossal Grand Prize!  Maximize your chances by attending ALL 3 events! Let's pack the stands and cheer our Girls Lacrosse tonight at 5:30 pm to victory! 

 

SAT TESTING Attention junior students who chose to take tomorrow's SAT exam: Unless you received a pass indicating an alternate location, all testing juniors are expected to be in the East Gym, seated, and ready to test by 8:00 a.m. You are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure you are prepared.

It is important to make sure you have the following:

  1. Your school-issued AND fully-charged Chromebook to the exam. No personal devices will be allowed in the testing room.
  2. A pen or pencil for scratch work. The school will provide scratch paper.
  3. A snack and/or drink for the exam, to be placed under your desk at all times.
  4. Do not bring an internet-enabled device like your cell phone or smart watch. These will be confiscated at the beginning of the exam.

MINORITY EMPOWERMENT CLUB                                                                           Hey bulldogs! Got a sweet tooth? Come support a great cause this Wednesday during all lunches at our Bake Sale! We’re raising money for Shanti Bhavan, a school in India that empowers children from poverty through education. Cookies are $1.00 each, and every one you buy helps change a life. So swing by, grab a treat, and make a difference!

EARTH DAY                                                                                             Today is the 55th Earth Day, a day set aside to celebrate the Earth and everything she provides.  PLEASE join the Ecology Club and Zoology Classes this Sunday for the last habitat restoration workday for 2024-25.  Pick up a permission slip in room 119 and sign up by Thursday.  See Mr. Monti if you have any questions!

 

HELP WITH SCHOOLWORK                                                                       Need Help Staying on Top of Schoolwork? Are you struggling with organization, study skills, time management, or getting work done? Get the support you need to stay on track and succeed. Scan the QR code on the posters you see in the hallways or flyers in your classroom, to sign up for personalized help! Any student looking to improve their academic skills and learn strategies to stay organized, manage time effectively, and complete assignments with less stress can sign up!

BAKING CLUB                                                                                                               The baking club will meet today after school. We will be decorating cupcakes.

STAFF YOGA                                                                                             Staff Yoga is today, in Dance Studio 120, from 3:20-4:10 pm.  Email Mrs. Dobbertin with any questions.

BEST BUDDIES                                                                                          Best Buddies chapter meeting is Thursday, April 24th during all lunches. Next week, Tuesday and Thursday after school are officer interview signups. Hope to see you during lunch!! 

BULLDOGS FOR LIFE                                                                                    Want to know more about Pro-Life? Join 'Bulldogs for Life'  for a Zoom meeting Today at 3:15 pm in Room 133.  A  representative from the national organization, 'Students for Life', will be available to answer any questions. All are welcome.

CYBER SECURITY CLUB                                                                                 Do you like gaming, puzzles, or technology? Jump into learning cybersecurity with Cybersecurity Club! No experience is needed, and it's still not too late to join! Come to our final meeting in room 206 at 7:30 am tomorrow, or contact Mr. Bonarigo or Mrs. Mauritzen for more information.

RBEF GRANT

The deadline to apply for an RBEF educational grant is Thursday, May 1st.  The application form is found on the foundation's website (RBEF.TV).
