Congratulations to our Varsity Competitive Poms for their outstanding performance at the IDTA State Competition in Springfield this past weekend. The team placed 3rd out of 12 teams in the AAA Jazz Division. Congratulations on a wonderful end to an amazing season.

I LOVE seeing so many of you in your comfortable PJ’s today!  Our Valentine’s Week Spirit days continue tomorrow with our LOVE of Summer - please wear BEACH attire!

TODAY in ALL lunches you can sign-up to play in one of the PEP RALLY GAMES.  Please enter your name at the table.

There is a Blood Drive at RB NEXT week on Wednesday, February 21 in the East GYM all day.  If you would like to donate blood, please sign-up at the table in the cafe during all lunches today!  You must be 16 or older to donate, in good health and can donate during your PE or Study Hall.  Or see Ms Ziola or Mr Dybas with any questions.  THANK YOU!

This past weekend, the RB Chess Team competed at the 50th Annual IHSA State Chess Championship Tournament.  With five new starters this season, the Bulldogs fought hard and finished with two wins and five losses.  Four of their losses came down to the final board and could have easily been team wins!

Junior Dylan Zec, a first-year starter, won five matches and had a draw and earned All-State honors with a bronze medal on his board.

Freshman Vittorio Sciacca just missed a medal with four wins and a draw and Junior David Gugliciello (Goog-Lee-Sea-Ello) had three wins and two draws playing the toughest board and also just missed All-State status.

1st-year Senior Joe Hiltscher added three wins, Junior Nate Smolarek had two wins and two draws, and senior captain Quentin Rohner had a big win and draw in the team's two victories. Great Job Bulldogs!

Registration is now open on our 8to18 Athletic Website for Boys and Girls Track. Please have your parent or guardian register you so that you can get started.

GO BULLDOGS!!
