Attention  Juniors:

All juniors will be taking an Official Practice SAT tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15th, during periods 1 through 4. Students should report to the Fieldhouse tomorrow morning, where they will be directed to their seats. Because the testing will not end until close to 11:45am, juniors with Lunch 4 or 4D will eat during Lunch 5. All others should report to their normal lunch period. Accommodated students should have received slips yesterday to give them more information about their testing location.  Their testing will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday from Periods 1-3. Students, please arrive at your assigned testing location before the start of the first period. Don’t forget your calculators and #2 pencils and erasers. No phones, Smartwatches, or backpacks will be allowed in the testing centers, so please leave them in your lockers. Please bring a sweatshirt, as the testing rooms can sometimes be chilly.

Congratulations to the RB Chess Team for finishing in 10th place at the Argo Tournament this past weekend.  Senior Karl Demegillo had three wins and a draw and finished in 3rd Place on 5th Board.  Junior Jack Baird had two wins and a draw and finished in 6th Place on 2nd Board.  Sophomore Dylan Zec had four wins and finished in 6th place in the Open Section.

The team would have finished even higher but lost a controversial match in which their opponent Niles North was illegally allowed to use a student from a different team instead of forfeiting that board.  The team's only loss was to top rated Nequa Valley.
