Not only is March National Women's Month, but it is also National Nutrition Month. . .

This year's theme, "Celebrate a World of Flavors," showcases how flavors from cultures around the world is a tasty way to nourish ourselves and appreciate our diversity.  A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can help you create healthy habits that celebrate your heritage and introduce you to new foods and flavors. Take the time this month to focus on YOU and your health!!

March is Women's History Month, so we have a lot of exciting things happening at RB. Girl Up and AST are hosting a donation drive for Sarah's Inn, an organization that provides services to adults and children who are impacted by domestic violence. Some of the items we are collecting include non-perishable food items, hygiene and toiletry items, paper products, cleaning items, and Pull-Ups and wipes. You can drop off items in the box in the Atrium or in Room 117. Girl Up is also having an Instagram scavenger hunt competition, which will award a prize to one winner at the end of the month. Follow us at "girluprbhs" on Instagram for daily challenges.

The Boys Basketball team won the regional championship on Friday, with a 67-62 win over Oak Park.  Next up is the sectional semifinal on Tuesday, March 1 vs. Whitney Young at 7pm.  The game is at Proviso West.   We hope to have a huge 6th man student section to cheer on the Bulldogs.  There will be a fan bus.  Sign-ups are in lunch today and tomorrow.  Go Bulldogs!!

RBGSA will be meeting this Wednesday, March 2, at 7:30 AM in Ms. Thurnall's room #233.  Join us for some coffee and munchkins!  All are welcome, and we hope to see you there.

Please support your RB Girls Track & Field team by purchasing a baked good this week, starting today until Wednesday, March 2nd. We will be selling before and after school at Door A, Door G and at all lunches!

RB is hosting a Trades and Career Fair on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, during 2nd and 3rd periods. We will have representatives from a variety of trades and careers including but not limited to Carpenters, Pipefitters, Electricians, Firefighters, Police, and the armed forces. Check your email for the form to register!

Club photo day for the yearbook is on Thursday, March 3rd. If you are involved in a club or activity, check with your activity sponsor to find out more details. The schedule for the day is posted by the main office, outside the cafeteria, and outside room 265. All photos will be taken in the Little Theater. Make sure you wear your club shirt or other RB spirit wear for your photo on Thursday.

2022 spring sports registration is now open on our 8to18 website. Please have your parent or guardian get you registered and submit an up-to-date physical to the Athletic Department to ensure your eligibility.
