Last night, the wrestling team defeated Brother Rice to advance to Team State! The dual was highlighted with wins by Matt Patino, Daeshawn Jackson, Jake Stewart, Quintin Godlewski, Mateo Costello, Corey Dishmon, Brock Hoyd and George Donnamario. Congratulations!! Wrestlers will be competing at State this weekend in Bloomington, IL. against Washington starting at 11am. Good luck to all the wrestlers!


Attention Juniors: 

Congratulations on completing your practice SAT test.  Individual score reports are available in Mrs. Watson's room.  Reviewing your mistakes with your test booklet is a terrific way to grow your score for the next test.

Stop by Room 246 this week to get your scores back and see what you can improve upon before the real test in April

Baseball - There will be a brief informational meeting for anyone interested in trying out for baseball today at 3:15 in the P.E. Commons area. Tryouts for lower levels will be from 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM on Monday, March 2nd. Varsity tryouts will be from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM on March 2nd. 

 

The softball program will have an informational meeting for all girls interested in playing softball this spring.  The meeting will be held today at 3:15 in room 221. If you are unable to attend please see coaches: Schultz, Jarrell, Watson, Mynaugh or Yurek. 

 

The RBGSA will have a short meeting after school today in 201.  Field Trip forms for the Elmhurst College Event will be distributed, as well as a college scholarship opportunity.  All are welcome

 

The next Principal Forum Meeting will be held today during all lunches in Room 201.  Come share your ideas with Dr. Freytas and enjoy some pizza. All are welcome.

 

The President and Board of Commissioners are in search of a new flag design for Cook County Government and are looking for a high school student to design it. For more information see visit cookcountyil.gov/flag2021.

Attention all students, get excited for the spring dance that will be on March 7th! Tickets will be $10 for everyone with or without your student ID. This is a new event that RB is hosting this year, more information regarding the dance will come out soon.

 

Spring sports are now open for electronic registration at our 8to18 Athletic Website. Please have your parent or guardian register you for a spring sport. GO BULLDOGS!

There will be an informational Girls Badminton meeting today at 330 pm in the Alumni lounge.  Any girl interested in playing badminton this year should attend the meeting. See you there!
