Students who are giving blood today and didn’t receive their appointment card yesterday, please come to the Main Office.

 

French Club will celebrate the French crepe on Wednesday, February 19 at 3:10 in room 204. Everyone is welcome.

 

 Would you like to travel to France, visit the French Riviera, take a few French language classes in Nice and stay 4 days in Paris? The trip to France is set up for June 2021 and is open to all Freshmen and Sophomores. Juniors and Seniors have to be registered in a French class to participate. The informational meeting is on Wednesday February 19th at 6:30 in room 204. Bring a parent/guardian with you if possible. 

 

Madame Forberg is looking for a few more families to host French students for 2 weeks in the summer. This is a wonderful way of getting to know people from around the world and to develop lifelong friendships. No knowledge of French is necessary. See Madame Forberg in 204 for information.

 

The next Principal Forum Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 26 during all lunches in Room 201.  Come share your ideas with Dr. Freytas and enjoy some pizza. All are welcome.

 

The President and Board of Commissioners are in search of a new flag design for Cook County Government and are looking for a high school student to design it. For more information see visit cookcountyil.gov/flag2021.

Attention all students, get excited for the spring dance that will be on March 7th! Tickets will be $10 for everyone with or without your student ID. This is a new event that RB is hosting this year, more information regarding the dance will come out soon.

 

Spring sports are now open for electronic registration at our 8to18 Athletic Website. Please have your parent or guardian register you for a spring sport. GO BULLDOGS!

 

Do you have any leftover pop tops? Well if not, knows the time to start collecting our annual pop-top collection is this April. Help your 5th-period class win a pizza party.

 

Tennis Preseason Meeting will be in Room 108 immediately after school today.

 

There will be an informational Girls Badminton meeting on Wednesday, February 26th at 330 pm in the Alumni lounge.  Any girl interested in playing badminton this year should attend the meeting. See you there!

 

Attention Juniors: 

All juniors will be taking an Official Practice SAT on Tuesday, February 25th during periods 1 through 4. Students should report to the Fieldhouse that morning, where they will be directed to their seats. Because the testing will not end until close to 11:45 am, all juniors will be eating lunch during 4C on Tuesday. Accommodated students will be receiving slips to give them more information about their testing location. Students, please arrive at the assigned testing location by the start of the first period on Tuesday. Don’t forget your calculators and #2 pencils. No phones, Smartwatches, or backpacks will be allowed in the testing centers, so please leave them in your lockers. Please bring a sweatshirt, as the testing rooms can sometimes be chilly.
