Congratulations to the RB Chess Team for qualifying for the IHSA State Finals in two weeks in Peoria.  The Bulldogs, missing three of their top five players, and forfeiting 8th board in each round, defeated a higher-ranked Hinsdale South team 35-33 to make it to state for the 14th consecutive season.  The Bulldogs were led by Junior Charlie Buh, who won three of his four matches on Board 2, two positions higher than his normal board. Sophomore Trevor DeButch, playing three boards higher than usual, also had a key win and draw in his four matches.  Way to go Bulldogs!
