Club Description:
RBHS Speech Team is an opportunity for students to come together and demonstrate their speaking, acting, and performance skills in a competitive atmosphere and to practice in a social environment. There are 14 different events per tournament in which participants can compete, including:

Prose Reading

Poetry Reading

Oratorical Declamation

Oratory

Original Comedy

Special Occasion Speaking

Extemporaneous Speaking

Impromptu Speaking

Informative Speaking

We are competing in 4-5 tournaments throughout the school year.  Practices include acting and speaking exercises, Riverside Brookfield High School's Speech Team has had great success in the past, sending three students down state.  We look forward to contributing to these achievements and fostering a love of the oral expression that will follow students throughout their high school careers and beyond.
