Americans use an estimated 500 million straws a day - the same weight as 1,000 cars! Straws are made of non-biodegradable plastic which never break down and are nearly impossible to recycle. Straws are also especially dangerous to birds and aquatic animals when they try to eat them. So, whenever you eat out, remember to Shed the Straw or use a washable metal straw!
The Day of Service is this Saturday, and WAIVERS are now due!! Please understand that if you do not turn in your waiver, you cannot participate!
