PTO is looking for  student volunteers on MLK day Monday January 15 from 8-12pm.  If you would like to donate, they are asking for  hats, gloves, toothpaste, shampoo, lotion , deodorant, lip balm etc. Items can be dropped off  in the main office. This project is sponsored by PTO but being supported by SA and the African American Minority Empowerment clubs.


French Club will celebrate the "fete des rois" (pronounce RWO) on Wednesday January 10th at 3:10 in room 204. Come to learn how and enjoy the tasty traditional cake.  


Ring in the new year by joining AST--the Association of Students for Tolerance.  This week, AST re-starts our Wednesday visits to Cantata--a local retirement home.  If you are interested in spending time with a wonderful group of grandmas and grandpas, come join us this, or any Wednesday at 315 in room 234.  If you haven't joined us yet, now is the perfect time."


Students: We are excited to announce that starting second semester,  Mr. Nieman the former Chief of Police in North Riverside will serve as our full time school safety liaison. Mr. Nieman's office will be located in Student Services. If you would like to hear more about this position you and your family are invited to attend a meet and greet January 10th in the Little Theater at 6:30 pm.

Jan 11 Auditorium- All class assembly for the following:

1st Period -   Sophomores

2nd Period-   Freshman

3rd  Period-   Juniors.

Jan 12 Little Theater  - Seniors per period during English classes only.
