The next Bulldog Book Club meeting is this week!  Join us Thursday morning at 7:45 am in the library to discuss Shadowshaper by Daniel Jose Older.  All are welcome to join in the discussion, even if you have not read the book.


World travelers, get ready! Mr Charlie Pipal from Blueprint Tours is returning to RB to discuss options for European adventure. This informational meeting will occur after school on Thursday, December 14 in room 267. Questions? See Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Zimmerman

 

Over the last month, many people have been accused of sexual harassment.  Does the sudden focus on sexual harassment make it safer for all women to report these behaviors?  Will these awful stories lead to a more respectful treatment of women?

Wednesday morning at 7:15 in room 234, AST will discuss how we can all  learn from these stories.  That's Wednesday at 7:15--All are welcome.

 

The RB Winter Art Show is here! All are welcome to stop by the art department Tuesday-Thursday this week to view photography, drawing, painting, mixed media, digital art, sculpture, and pottery created by semester 1 students. Our Opening Reception is Tuesday evening 6-7pm . Awards will be on display at that time. Thank you for supporting the arts at RB!


RBHS PTO will be sponsoring Martin Luther King Day of Service Jan. 15th.  They will be building Survival KIts for the Homeless.  They are seeking adult hats, gloves, scarves, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo,conditioner, hand lotion, lip balm and non-perishable foods.  Supplies can be dropped off in the Main Office and in the Commons Area.  They are also looking for student volunteers on MLK Day Jan. 15th from 8-12pm.


Friday, December 15th is tacky holiday sweater day! Dress up and your 5th hour class could win a holiday treat!


Attention seniors! Superlative ballots and senior quotes are due to Mrs. Marsh in room 262 by this Friday! Make sure to turn them in as soon as possible! Contact Mrs. Marsh with any questions.


Don't cook today!  Portillo's in Forest Park is donating 20% of their proceeds to RBHS Sport Boosters from 5-8 p.m.

Go to the Sport Booster website and show the flyer from your smartphone.  You didn't want to cook anyway...try the cheese fries!


African American Minority Empowerment Club will have their holiday party after school today in room 130. See Ms Lojas for details


Attention students, you are no longer allowed to sit and eat in the Atrium during all lunches.


Reminder: With the road construction in Brookfield ramping up as well as the weather changing this week, please give yourself plenty of time to get to school. Tardies for all periods will be enforced.


Students, as a reminder, you must present your ID to the cashier when purchasing your breakfast or lunch. If you do not have an ID you may purchase a replacement for $5.00 in the Business Office. If you ask the cashier to look up your ID, you will need an administrator with you to do so.


Attention current sophomores.  Juniors who are on track to graduate in May 2020 will be allowed early release privileges for the 2018-19 school year.  If you are interested in having an early release next school year, please see your counselor.


Main Office has super soft, long sleeved Ski and Snowboard t-shirts for sale.  They are only $12 and available while supplies last.


As the first semester winds down, this is a reminder that tutoring will be available after school in the cafeteria monday thru thursday.
