The Blood drive is this Wednesday in the East Gym.  Please remember to drink plenty of water and food leading up to the drive, and if you are under the age of 18 remember to bring your signed permission the day of the drive. If you have any questions you can go to Ms. Ziola in room 215 or Ms. Koehler in room 114.

 

Do you like playing video or tabletop games?  Come to RBLibrary Wednesday during lunch and Thursday after school to celebrate International Games Week.  On Wednesday, you can play video games and board games created by RB students.  Join us Thursday after school for more games and snacks.  See you there!



This past Saturday the boys cross country team scored an impressive victory in the Sectional Championship. This season they have won the Conference, Regional and Sectional Championships. This is the second year in a row the team has accomplished this incredible feat! Jacob Wardzala and Connor O'Brien earned All-Sectional honors. The team of Jacob, Connor, Jack Sagan, Jason Noel, Ryan Hahn, David Keen, Chris Magno, Conor Raymond, Evan Dunbar, Zach Picton and Steve Haley travel to Peoria to race for the State title this weekend. Good job and good luck!     


Coach Curtin & the football program would like to thank all the students, faculty & staff for their support this season. The program celebrated their 100th season of RB football this season, and the team's winning record would not have been possible without you.


Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country Team.

For the second year in a row the girls and boys teams have qualified to run in the State Finals held in Peoria, IL.

The girls team tied for first in the Sectionals Meet on Saturday.

3 of the 7 Bulldogs finished with "All Sectional Honors".

Nadia Kaczmarz finished in 2nd place,

Hailey Jurgens placed 4th and Tara Janneys was 5th overall.

Cora Lutes, Melissa Oliveira-Liz, Niela Callanan and Tess Bruno  also raced well and propelled the team to its fantastic finish.

Rounding out the Girls State team are: Emma Forberg, Emma Pizana, Selena Axinte, Emma Fortman, and Viktoria Hanson

“Girls Basketball try-outs begin today from 3:30 - 5:30. Anyone interested in trying out must be registered on 8to18 and have a current physical on file.”



Representative Luis Gutierrez of the 4th District of Illinois will address students tonight at  6:30 PM in the RB Auditorium. To attend, students will need a signed media release waiver. Forms are available in the Main Office, 134, and 241. Submit completed forms to the Main Office.



There are still a few parking spots available if you are interested in Zoo Parking. Forms can be found in the Main Office. All applications must be submitted by Wednesday November 1st.


Attention all girls interested in playing softball in the spring.  There will be an informational meeting to discuss our open gym schedule on Wednesday, November 1st at 7:30 am in room 221.  If you are unable to attend the meeting please see Coach Schultz for the schedule.


Boys Basketball Tryouts are coming up on Monday, November 6th.  Freshman and Sophomore at 3:30 and Varsity at 5:30.  If interested, please attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 1st at 3:15pm in Room 104.  You must be registered on the 8 to 18 RBHS athletics website and have a physical on file in the athletic office to tryout.  Any questions, see Coach Reingruber in Student Services.


Tomorrow is Halloween Spirit Day for Halloween!  Wear a costume that doesn't include clowns, weapons or any face coverings and show your school spirit!
