African American/Minority Empowerment Club will meet in Room 112 after school today at 3:15 for an open discussion and a brief video viewing.

French Club will celebrate Fall with a fun scavenger Hunt before school on Wednesday before school at 7:20 in 204. All are welcome.


Hangout is an after school homework support group that meets Monday through Thursday from 3:05-4:00pm. Everyone Welcome!

"This Tuesday the RBHS Scholastic Bowl team, coached by Mrs. Carmona, had their first match against the Ridge Wood Warriors. The JV Team captained by Lindsey Dejesus had a decisive 2-0 victory. The Varsity team Co-Captained by Erik Robertson and Anna Sauders defeated Ridge Wood 2-0 as well, with Jason Kenny and Erik Robertson leading the team in tossups."



The Fine Arts Proficiency Exam is set to take place Thursday, October 19th in Room 130.  Students will need to register online for this exam through the link found on the school's Fine Arts' home page.   See Mr. Curtin with any questions.


Ski and snowboard club will be having their first meeting today in room 105 to learn about the club and upcoming ski trips. No experience needed and everyone is welcome. If you have any questions see Mr. Shermack.


"Attention dancers interested in the 2017-18 Competitive Dance Team. Tryouts will be held next week Monday and Tuesday, October 23rd and 24th after school from 3:30-5:00pm in the East gym. Please come with appropriate dance attire, and hair pulled back. See Ms. Doyle in rm. 123 with any questions."

 

Girls on the varsity and junior varsity tennis teams are reminded that uniforms and tennis award night supper reservations are to be returned tomorrow after school at 3:30pm at the storage cage in the basement.  Each girl is to turn in her own uniform.


Yesterday the boys cross country team won the conference championship in impressive fashion. RB's top five runners, Jacob Wardzala, Connor O'Brien, Jack Sagan, Jason Noel and  Ryan Hahn, finished in the top eight spots overall and all five earned All Conference awards. In the Open race junior Chris Magno bested the field to capture first place, and in the frosh-soph race, Steve Haley received All Conference with his 13th place finish.  Come and cheer the boys on this Saturday as they race for Regional Champions.
