AFRICAN AMERICAN CLUB will meet Tuesday, Feb 28th after school in Room 112.  Joining us will be minority medical students from Loyola.  The schedule will be distributed.  Come join us as we wrap up Black History month!


ARE YOU AN ARTIST SEEKING FOR YOUR CREATIVITY TO BE RECOGNIZED?

Then consider designing a t-shirt for the 2017 RBHS Day of  Service! The theme for this years day of service is “MAKE A SPLASH”, which will focus on stream and river clean-up. Everyone who engages in the event will receive a t-shirt and we are yearning that you can design it! For more information about what should be on the design, please look out for the flyers posted throughout the building. All entries must be submitted in black ink on white paper and needs to be turned in by March 2nd to Mrs.Young in Room 222. All entries will receive a voucher for a free cookie in the cafeteria. The winner will also receive a $20 gift card to Chick-Fil-A.


THE SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS are selling krispy cremes this morning and during lunch.


ATTENTION ALL GIRLS interested in playing softball this spring. There will

be an informational meeting tomorrow in the east gym at 7:00 am. The

requirements for trying out and schedule will be discussed. Tryouts are on

Monday, February 27th. If you cannot attend please see coach Schultz,

Jarrell, Monahan, Mynaugh or Yurek for the information.


CONGRATS to Joey Rosa, Micheal Rosa, Matt Bielobradek, and Ja'moni Wise who Qualified for the boys Swimming & Diving State Meet this past weekend at Sectionals. They will be competing this weekend. Good Luck!

 

COLOR GUARD CLINIC will be held today through Friday this week in the East Gym from 5-6:30pm. Clinic is free and it is a no cut team. Come out and learn some new routines!


BASEBALL - There will be a brief informational meeting today at 3:15 in the Field House for anyone interested in playing baseball this spring. Important information regarding try-outs will be discussed during this meeting. Please see Coach Till or Coach Ruge if you cannot attend. Try-outs begin on Monday.

Your Jostens graduation product order will be presented to you during lunch outside the cafeteria today.  Please bring your payment if you have a balance due.


ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A PROM DRESS? Join us for the RB Boutique on Saturday March 4th from 11 am – 2 pm in the RB Commons area.  We have hundreds of gently used and new long and short dresses as well as jewelry.  Long dresses are only $10 each while short dresses are $5.


ATTENTION ALL AP STUDENTS: Please remember to go to TotalRegistration.net to register for this year's AP exams. If you have questions, please see Mr. Helgeson in room 134.


THE BLOOD DRIVE is next week on Wednesday, March 1st from 8 am – 3 pm in the East Gym.  If you would still like to sign-up to donate you may do so today in all lunches today in the student cafe.  Your 1 pint of blood can help save 3 lives!

 

SOMETIMES THE HARD KNOCK LIFE can really get you down. To escape it, come see the spring musical Annie next week on March 2, 3, and 4 at 7 p.m. and March 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for RB students and may be purchased at the door or through the Annie ticket link on RB’s homepage. I think you’re going to like it here!


BATTLE OF THE BANDS is Sunday May 21st.  Applications are available in the main office and the deadline is April 14th.


STARTING TODAY the cafeteria will be serving fresh cut fries sourced from Idaho potatoes.


KEEP SAVING POP TOPS!

Student Association will host the Pop Tops contest in April. Collect pop tops to help your 5th hour class win a pizza party!


RB PTO is looking for gently worn, clean short and long dresses, jewelry and handbags donations for the RB Boutique Flash Sale to be held on Sat. March 4th. See our website for donation locations.


ATTENTION SENIORS:

The local scholarship applications are now available on the Student Services website. The deadline for most applications is March 10th, although a few scholarships have a different deadline. Please see your counselor with any questions.
