 ATTENTION SOPHOMORE AND JUNIOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS.

The Student Services Department will be hosting their annual "What I Wish I Had Known" night tomorrow at 7:00 P.M. in Room 201. This program is for college-bound juniors and junior parents that are interested in the college search and application process. A panel of 3 current seniors and 3 senior parents will share their journey through the college planning process and offer some practical advice. We hope you can attend!

 

ON TUESDAY APRIL 19, FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE AND JUNIOR STUDENTS WILL TAKE A STANDARDIZED TEST

All students should bring #2 pencils and a calculator and report to their testing location by 7:50 a.m. Room assignments will be posted for all students testing closer to the testing day. Dismissal time for this test day will be 12:35 for any student not receiving accommodated testing support.

Each grade will be taking the following tests:

Freshman PLAN Test

Sophomores Practice ACT

Juniors State ACT (funded by RBHS – parents do not have to register their children for this test).

Seniors College Visit Day (non-attendance day)

 

CHEERLEADING CLINICS WILL BE HELD THIS FRIDAY

in the east gym from 330-730 and tryouts will be on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10am-2pm!


HEY BULLDOGS - WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET MORE INVOLVED IN THE SCHOOL PLANNING EVENTS SUCH AS HOMECOMING, BLOOD DRIVES AND COMMUNITY FUNDRAISERS?

If yes, then attend the Student Association meeting this Wednesday, April 13 at 7:20 am in Room 201 to find out more about becoming a Class Officer or Executive Board Member.  

 

THE ORCHESIS SHOW IS ON APRIL 22ND AND 23RD!

Come out and see our RB Dancers and the performance they have been working all semester for! Show is at 7:00pm both nights, tickets will be sold in the business office, $7 for students and $10 for adults.

 

ILLINOIS COLLEGE WILL BE VISITING RB

Wednesday during 3rd hour, sign up through Naviance.

 

ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DAY OF SERVICE NEED TO TURN IN THEIR SIGNED WAIVER BY WEDNESDAY APRIL 20  

Please turn it in to your English teacher, or to Mrs. Young in room 222 of the Main Office.

 

ARE YOU A TECH SAVYY GIRL?

Tech Savvy is a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) career conference that will be held on Saturday, April 16 at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines. See the flyers throughout the building for more information.

 

PROM TICKETS ARE ON SALE THIS WEEK DURING ALL LUNCH PERIODS.

Fees must be paid and you must present an ID and guest pass at the time of purchase. Prom court nominations will be held in the café during lunch periods for Juniors/Seniors until Friday.

 

ASVAB TEST:

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and are interested in potentially entering the military after high school, we are offering the ASVAB Test at 8:00am in the Alumni Lounge. If you would like to sign up, please register with Ms. Englehart in Student Services by Monday, April 11th. If you have any questions, please see your counselor.
