WHAT A FABULOUS SATURDAY FOR RB BOUTIQUE!

The sun was shining, many gorgeous  dresses were bought, shoes were flying off the racks, sparkly jewelry was everywhere and girls with new makeup and hairdos by Paul Mitchell walked out the doors smiling and their Mom's were happy! Why? They got their dresses from RB Boutique and now they have extra money in their pockets! Thanks to all who volunteered to make the day a huge success~ Special thanks to all our shoppers!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE THE NORTH STARS RB’S HOCKEY CLUB ON THEIR WIN LAST NIGHT IN THE FIRST GAME OF THE BURTON CUP (VARSITY) PLAYOFFS.  They beat the Spartans 7-4 last night.  They move on to play the Cobra's.  

THE MATH TEAM COMPETED AT THE REGIONAL COMPETITION THIS PAST SATURDAY

In the geometry competition, Jackson Hajer placed 2nd and Jason Kenny placed 4th.  Jackson and Jason also placed 2nd in the freshman/sophomore 2-person competition.  Jackson has also qualified to compete in the state competition for geometry on May 7th.  If you know either Jackson or Jason, please congratulate them.

THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM HUDDLED FOR THEIR INTERSQUAD COMPETITION KNOWN AS “THE COMMITMENT CHALLENGE”

to kick off their winter off-season strength & conditioning program. Congratulations go out to the winning team, Marine Recon (ree-kän) led by junior Coulter Greenwell.

 

GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS ARE TODAY AFTER SCHOOL, PLEASE MEET AT THE STADIUM.

 

ATTENTION ALL BOYS INTERESTED IN PLAYING VOLLEYBALL

There will be a short informational meeting today at 3:15 in room 219.  Please see Coach Bonarigo if you cannot attend

 

INTERESTED IN PERFORMING DURING THE FOOTBALL HALFTIME SHOWS NEXT YEAR?

Come try out color guard Monday and Tuesday from 6pm-8pm in the East Gym where you will have an opportunity to learn new Flag and Twirl routines as well as meet the girls on team! This is a no-cut team! Come join the fun!

 

ON SATURDAY, RB HOSTED THE INAUGURAL METRO SUBURBAN CONFERENCE CHESS TOURNAMENT

With just five players, the Bulldogs finished in second place overall, trailing Fenton by only one half of a point!

 

Sophomore Luke Graham took 3rd Place overall out of 41 players, Senior Jacob Bell took 4th, Senior Collin Taylor finished 9th, and Senior Tadas Kunickas finished 13th.

 

Freshman Megan Sroka finished 20th overall, and won medals for 2nd overall in JV and 3rd overall in the Girl's Division.  

Lastly, a BIG thank you to the maintenance crew for the amazing job they did cleaning and setting up after Friday night's basketball games and dodgeball tournament!  You are the greatest!!!

STARTING IN APRIL, STUDENT ASSOCIATION WILL HOST THE ANNUAL POP TOPS FOR PATIENTS CONTEST TO BENEFIT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

We encourage you to keep saving your pop tops to contribute towards your 5th hour class. The 5th hour class with the most pop tops will win a pizza party!  and new this year, we have 2nd & 3rd place prizes, as well!!
