IN HONOR OF THIS YEAR’S SPECIAL GUEST FOR THE LIBRARY POETRY SLAM

check out an excerpt of Dan "Sully" Sullivan's poem, "Tired of Looking for Signs Like These", which is part of his most recent Chicago book, The Blue Line. "I face Lake Michigan on a bridge, water flat as vowels on the busy traffic of tongues. Standing between us are buildings built like blips on a heart monitor. [...] All the parts of this city are moving and this moment is caught in its throat. I am passed up - a shadow in the street lamp. The intersection of my connectedness, present and quiet as black gum spots on curbs." Remember, slam applications are due Monday. Ask the library for more details.

CALLING ALL SENIORS:

Are you interested in performing during the May 6 Senior Awards Ceremony?  Auditions for senior students will be held on Tuesday, April 21st beginning at 3:20 in Room 155E (the Choir Room). We are looking for Instrumentalists, singers, dancers, actors or any other well-prepared performance.

If you have any questions, please see Ms. Kennedy in the Main Office or Mrs. Marelli.
