CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM FOR WINNING
their first Sectional Championship in school history! Thank you to all the students and staff who came out to support the team! The Bulldogs improve to 28-3 and take on #2 ranked Stevenson on Tuesday night at 7:00pm at Chicago State University. Tickets are $8.00 and available in the business office during the day. Tickets and Fan Bus sign up are also available in all lunches and after school in the athletic office. We all know how fast the tickets sold out on Friday, so be sure to get them right away!

Prom tickets are on sale in the bookstore during lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of March. Tickets are $80. EACH YEAR, TEENS THROUGHOUT ILLINOIS NOMINATE ENTICING READS FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE ABRAHAM LINCOLN READING CONTEST
Only twenty-two titles make the cut and the 2016 award year titles are finally in! From now until National Library Week in mid-April, one nominee will be featured as the Book of the Day each morning. Today’s Abe Lincoln Book of the Day is Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. Fifteen-year-old Ari Mendoza is an angry loner with a brother in prison, but when he meets Dante and they become friends, Ari starts to ask questions about himself, his parents, and his family that he has never asked before.
