On December 9th, students from Helping Paws volunteered at the Chicago Survivors Holiday Gift Drive and Party! Chicago Survivors is a non-profit organization that provides multi-cultural crime victim services to family members of Chicago homicide victims. Over 700 gifts are handed out to families to help them celebrate a difficult holiday season without their loved ones. Students played games, gave out candy, did crafts with the kids, and handed out gifts to families.
