On Saturday, the RB Chess Team competed at the IHSA Sectional at Hinsdale Central which was probably the toughest of the 8 sectionals this year.  Short-handed, and in a must-win situation, the Bulldogs upset #11 ranked Reavis 36-32 in the final round to qualify for State for the 17th consecutive year.  Sophomore David Gugliciello and Senior Karl Demegillo led the way with two wins and a draw in each of their four matches while Junior Quentin Rohner added two wins and Senior Eric Albarran had one win and two draws.   Great Job Bulldogs, best of luck at State in two weeks!
