"Today closes out RBLibrary's celebration of Banned Books Week, a week celebrating your freedom to read. Banned Books Week was started by the American Library Association in the 1980s, after a Supreme Court Case ruled that school officials could not ban books in libraries simply because of their content. Of the 11 Most Challenged Books of 2018, RBLibrary currently has 5 of the titles on the list, several of which are very popular reads. Celebrate your freedom to read every day by checking out and reading books that you enjoy.
