This program hosts a range of workshops dealing with various careers such as international diplomacy, medicine, and business. Research in the Biological Sciences (RIBS)
This four-week intensive training program is designed to expose students to a broad range of molecular, microbiological, and cell biological techniques currently used in research laboratories. Join the Field Museum’s Distinguished Service Curator, Lance Grande, for a four-week intensive practicum in paleontology. This course provides the fundamental scientific background needed to discover and understand the meaning of fossils as they are preserved, and gives students the opportunity to gain actual field experience. Every summer, around 350 student musicians entering grades 10, 11, 12, and recent high school graduates spend a week at Luther College to study, explore, and perform music under the mentorship of Luther's music faculty. The total camp fee is $575 which includes tuition, evening activities, room, and board. Optional private lessons are available at an additional cost of $45 for a pair of half hour lessons.
