WEST SUBURBAN CHIEFS OF POLICE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a student planning to attend college during the 2024-2025 school year. Criteria is: the student is a resident of a West Suburban member town, will pursue studies in the field of criminal justice as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours), and is not related to an active member Police Chief of the West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association. 13th DISTRICT AHEPA SCHOLARSHIP

TEMPLE HOYNE BUELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
In memory of Temple Hoyne Buell, member of the Alpha Zeta Delta chapter of Chi Psi Fraternity, three scholarships, each worth $1,000, are being offered to incoming freshmen men at the University of Illinois. CBAI FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY BANKING SCHOLARSHIP
The CBAI Foundation for Community Banking offers 24 scholarships to top Illinois high-school seniors statewide each year with an essay-writing contest. The scholarship awards available this year by the Foundation total $21,500. These scholarship awards help deserving students highlight the importance of community banking to the local economy. RICHARD A. MAAS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 
The Richard A. Maass Memorial Scholarship, honors one of the founders and a long-time leader of the section. It is presented to the one candidate, selected from the recommended applications received form the graduating seniors at local high schools in the Fox Valley section’s area who are pursuing a college degree the next academic year at an accredited University or four-year College. The scholarship will fund one year of undergraduate tuition and fees up to a maximum of $2,000. HORATIO ALGER NATIONAL AND STATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Scholarships range from $10,000 to $25,000. To be considered for scholarships applicants must be a high school junior, demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), display perseverance in overcoming adversity, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. ILLINOIS SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

ADVOCATE GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL-MEDICAL STAFF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Ten individuals will receive a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for four years. Applicants must be high school seniors who reside in or attend high school in the Good Samaritan Hospital area and intend on pursuing a degree in a healthcare-related field such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical/occupational therapy, etc.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be accepted into and plan to attend an accredited two or four year college, university or technical school. Applicants must fill out an application form, provide college transcripts for the most recently completed academic year, supply a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or counsel, and give a brief statement regarding their college career so far. JOINT CIVIC COMMITTEE OF ITALIAN AMERICANS 
The Women's Division of the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans is offering scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to young ladies of Italian heritage. The scholarship award will be presented at the Scholarship Benefit Fashion Show and Dinner on April 26th, 2024. Applicants must be a resident of Illinois, have at least one parent of Italian descent, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, be graduating high school at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, who will be enrolled full-time in a 2 or 4 year accredited college/university or an accredited vocational/technical school, and must be present to accept the award. HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Every year, HSF selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars from a broad and talented pool of applicants. HSF empowers families with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing scholarships and support services to as many exceptional students as possible. To be eligible, students must be of Hispanic heritage, be a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, plan to enroll full=time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university for the 2024-2025 academic year, and submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable).

This is a $500 scholarship in which students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in response to a specified question. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. This scholarship offers $5,000 to 350 applicants who are either a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior. Applicants must be African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian and Intend to major or already major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or another chemistry-related science. AMERICAN LINE BUILDERS JOINT APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING PROGRAM 
The American Line Builders Apprenticeship and Training Committee (ALBAT Program) accepts applications for apprentice programs including outside lineman, substation technician, and transmission technician on a continuing basis in an eight-state area. The apprenticeship program length is approximately 3 years. Applicants must be 18 years old, be at least a high school graduate or have a GED, and show a copy of a valid driver's license. ANDREW FLUSCHE SCHOLARSHIP (Check back later for 2024 updates)
The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) about how to share the road with pedestrians and bicyclists. One winner will be chosen each year semester and will receive $500 to put towards higher education. Made possible through donations to the AOPA Foundation, scholarship awards are part of the You Can Fly program, a series of targeted initiatives designed to make flying more affordable, accessible, and fun. The High School Flight Training Scholarship provides funds for winners to apply toward training for their private, sport, or recreational pilot certificate. ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP (Check back later for 2024 updates)
Scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards. APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved APIA students. Applicants must be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census, be a US citizen, enrolled as an undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall of 2022, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED, submit the FASFA by early April 2022, and submit one letter of recommendation online. BARBARA LOTZE SCHOLARSHIP (Check back later for 2024 updates)
Undergraduate students enrolled, or planning to enroll, in physics teacher preparation curricula and high school seniors entering such programs are eligible. This scholarship offers a stipend of up to $2,000 and a complimentary AAPT Student Membership for one year. The scholarship may be granted to an individual for each of four years. Applicants must declare their intent to prepare for, and engage in, a career in physics teaching at the high school level and must, at the time the scholarship funds are received by the student be: an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or a university; or a high school senior accepted for such enrollment. Must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in the high schools, show promise of success in their studies, and a citizen of the United States of America. This annual scholarship is available to high school students who are U.S. residents, have a minimum unweighted 3.75 GPA, submit two letters of recommendation, participation in a STEM-related extra-curricular activity, and must pursue an engineering or related science degree through ABET accredited program. The scholarship winner will be awarded $1,500 and the scholarship may be renewed for a total award of $6,000. The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the requirements of having a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character. Scholarship applications are accepted at the beginning of an applicant’s senior year of high school, as well as from college freshmen. In 2020, 845 caddies applied for the Evans Scholarship and 300 Scholarships were awarded for the 2021-2022 academic year. Distinguished Young Women of Illinois is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women. Scholarships are available in two ways: cash tuition scholarships (which can be used at any accredited institution of higher learning) and college-granted scholarships (almost 100 colleges and universities offer scholarships to program participants – several scholarships are available just for taking part in a local or state program). This scholarship is an opportunity for talented graduating students to demonstrate the role that architecture plays in their lives. Candidates participate by submitting a creative video response to show us how they interact with our design and demonstrate what the space makes possible. One student from RB will receive a $500 scholarship and be qualified for the state competition. The top winner will receive a total of $1,500 and the state runner-up will receive a total of $1,000. This scholarship is open to any senior that will be attending college or university in the fall.
