Happy Computer Science Education Week! From December 3 to December 10, Girls Who Code invites you to celebrate education in computer science! On Thursday, December 7, Girls Who Code will set up games and prizes in the Atrium! Today, they would like to share one CS Hero: Victoria C. Chavez. Chavez is a proud Guatemalan who was born in Chicago. From developing an SMS-based app that tells users which stores accept food stamps, researching CS accessibility for students with disabilities, and advocating for high-quality computer science education in all K-12 schools, to working on inclusive CS pedagogy in higher education, Chavez’s work in and outside the classroom is inspired by their own experiences and their desire for a more equitable world. Talk to Ms. Czajka, Mr. Bonarigo,  or Ms. Sarkady if you are interested in taking a CS class here at RB!

French Club will be meeting on Wednesday the 6th before school at 7:25 in room 204. Join us to celebrate the tradition of St. Nicolas and grab some treats as well. Bring a friend.
