The Organization for Latin American Students (OLAS) will meet tomorrow at 7:30 AM in room 240. Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. All are welcome!

This week is Banned Books Week, an annual event sponsored by the American Library Association that celebrates our freedom to read. Banned Books Week began in the 1980s, a time of increased challenges, organized protests, and a Supreme Court case in 1982, which ruled that school officials can’t ban books in libraries simply because of their content. This year's theme is "Books unite us. Censorship divides us." Honor your right to read today by picking up a book you enjoy and stop by RBLibrary any time this week and take a look at some of the books people have tried to stop others from reading and enjoying.

Thank you to all who helped make this year's Homecoming a great success,  Whether you planned the dance and pep rally, or dressed up for the spirit-themed days, or participated in the penny-pinch, the enthusiasm was amazing!  The week was a great success!  If you are interested in what the Student Association has planned next, please attend our weekly Wednesday morning meetings at 7:20 am, this Wednesday in the Lehotsky Room #201.

French club, Spanish club and Olas will play their annual international soccer tournament on Tuesday at 3:10. All are welcome and bring a friend! See you on the football field!
