Here is our last Banned Books Week fact of the day: There has been a trend in the past several years that books that find themselves on the Top Ten Most Challenged list are books written for young adults and children, and there have been more occurrences of "blanket bans" where all library materials that share something in common are banned, such as removing all LGBTQ books. To help stop the trend of challenging books, stay informed and stand up for your right to read.

Because the testing will not end until close to 11:45am, all juniors will be eating lunch during 4C on Tuesday. Accommodated students will be receiving slips later this week to give them more information about their testing location. Students, please arrive to the assigned testing location by the start of first period on Tuesday. Don’t forget your calculators and #2 pencils.
