Here is today's Banned Books Week fact of the day: Reasons for book challenges are varied but most challenges arise from a desire to protect children from "inappropriate" sexual content or "offensive" language. For example, profanity was cited as a reason for challenging the bestselling book The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.  During all lunches today, earn Hero points from Mrs. Phillips by taking your picture with your favorite banned book.  Speak out for your favorite stories and help RBLibrary celebrate your right to choose what to read.
