This Thursday, Ecology Club is welcoming a guest speaker on the possibility of bringing solar power and solar panels to RB.  The meeting starts promptly at 3:15 in Room 119. And just like the sun, it's free so bring a friend!!


Tropical Snow will be selling their shaved ice snow cones at this Fridays Homecoming game for $3.00. All proceeds will be donated directly to the family of Ethan Tkalec for his medical costs. Please stop by the south gate at the Football game for a nice treat and to support Ethan.


Attention anyone involved in the Theater Department here at RB. On Friday morning information packets for Illinois High School Theater Festival will be posted in the music Department outside Mrs. Prince’s office. You MUST BE a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at Riverside-Brookfield High School with participation in out Theater either Fall Play, Spring Musical, Tech, Shenanigans, or Speech in order to apply. Any Questions see Miss S or Ms Baratta


The Sexuality and Gender Alliance, SAGA, will meet today after school in 201.  All are welcome.


"OLAS, the Organization for Latin American Students, will be hosting dance lessons today after school in room 201. We will be discussing future events for the club and learning the basics of different Latino dances. Feel free to stop by!"


"Do you like tennis? Do you like tables? Well, come to Table Tennis club and you can enjoy both! We will be meeting on Mondays in the cafeteria afterschool. The ping pong tables fill up quick, so come early! If you have any questions, see Mr. Boyd in room 118.


Tomorrow is Jersey day, so sport your favorite team’s apparel!


Everyone is lighting up the halls today in the neon attire. If you haven’t had a chance to vote for the King and Queen, students may still do so through the main RBHS webpage and find the google form link under News and Announcements.



Attention Juniors and Seniors:

The Cook County Clerk's Office is looking for high school students to serve as Student Judges in the upcoming November 6th 2018 General Election. Judges earn $200.  If you are interested please see Mr. Fields in room 230 or register at www.cookcountyclerk.com/students. The deadline for registration is Friday, September 28.

 

Any student that intends on bringing a guest to homecoming must fill out a guest pass form and turn it in by today. The forms can be found in the main office.

 

Get a head start on homework! Come join us in the student cafeteria for Homework Hangout from 3:05-4:00 pm Mondays - Thursdays. NHS tutors will be available to help everyday, if you have questions or need help in one or more classes.

Did you miss your chance to park in the Rockefeller Student Lot? If you did, then you are in luck! The South Zoo Lot Parking Application is up and online on RB’s home page. Students who are approved may park in the Zoo Lot from October 1st to March 31st. Approval notices will be out by the end of September. All fees must be paid for in advance prior to purchasing the $85.00 Permit.
