And there is a tie for second between Ms. Jarrell and Ms. Forbergs 5th hour classes with 5.2 lbs. In 3rd place is Ms. Nickelson with 4lbs. It’s still anyone’s game for the pizza party! Remember to bring in your pop tops by this Friday!

EARTH WEEK TIP #3

Half of American schoolchildren are dropped off at school in the family car.  If 20% of those living within two miles of school were to bike or walk instead, it would save 4.3 million miles of driving per day.  Over a year, that saved driving would prevent 356,000 tons of carbon dioxide and 21,500 tons of other pollutants from being released. Tomorrow is the last day to bike or car pool and earn a Polar Bear Slip for the big raffle on Monday April 30th!

The Day of Service is this Saturday, and WAIVERS are now due!!  Please understand that if you do not turn in your  waiver, you cannot participate! Turn your signed waiver into the main office, or in Mrs. Young's room, 222 ASAP!  The one of a kind bracelets are still available!

The Freshmen Class will be selling muffins on Thursday and Friday morning in the atrium this week. All muffins are a dollar!
