RBHS Theatre Presents: Little Shop of Horrors March 1-3, at 7:00PM March 4, at 2:00PM


ILMEA All-State Musicians

Congratulations to Junior Joy Greco (Soprano 1) and Senior Johnathan Wells (Bass 2) for being selected for the Illinois Music Educators All-State Honors Chorus.  Senior Katherine LaHart (Alto 1) was selected for the All-State Chorus.  These students completed a difficult audition process back in October, were selected for the District 1 Senior Festival and have now made it to the culminating performance experience.  Senior Luka Malovic entered and was selected for the Composition Track.  We are incredibly proud of our RB All-State Musicians!


Today in all lunches you can help SA thank the Custodians for all that they do year-round.  Please stop by the table today to sign the thank you banner.


African American Minority Empowerment Club will meet today (Tuesday) after school in Room 112  Sign ups with be available.  All are welcome.  Get involved with Black History Month-its going to be epic.


Congratulations to the poms team on this weekend’s performance at sectionals! This competitive dance team qualified for the state series which will be held this weekend in Bloomington. Way to go girls, you deserve it!


Please join the Athletic Department in celebrating our Poms team as they depart for their State Competition in Bloomington with a parade down the science hallway at the end of 7th period on Thursday January 25th.


The Library will be closed today for Practice ACT testing periods 1 through 5.  All Study Hall students should report to Mr. Dollins.  Also, Study Hall will be moved to the Little Theater during periods 1-4."



The Special Olympics Basketball team competed in their state qualifying tournament. Through hard work, dedication, and tough tenacity , the Bulldogs came out on top as champions of their tournament, earning them a spot in the State championship game. Please congratulate the players as you see them today. This is an amazing accomplishment for them and the school!



Don't cook today!  Bill's Place in LaGrange Park is donating 20% of their proceeds to RBHS Sports Boosters from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Just tell them you are from RBHS and try the delicious fried chicken!



The RBHS PTO would like announce applications are now available for the Summer Academic/Leadership Enrichment Grant on the PTO website.

This grant is to assist students with the costs of attending camps/workshops during the summer of 2018 that provide academic enrichment and/or enhance their leadership skills.This grant is not for athletic or music programs.  It is for individual, not group use.  This grant is open to current RB freshmen, sophomores and juniors who will be enrolled at RB in the fall of 2018. Please place completed applications in an envelope labeled 'PTO Grant' and drop off in the main office for placement in the PTO mailbox no later than Monday, April 16th.  Grant recipients will be notified by Monday, May 14th.
