Here is today's Banned Books Week fact of the day: Last year 323 book challenges were reported to the American Library Association's Office of Intellectual Freedom, yet there were most likely many more. The ALA estimates between 82 and 79% of challenges remain unreported for various reasons. Of the 323 reported challenges, 30% were located in schools and 20% in school libraries.
Yearbook picture retake day is Monday, October 2nd in the Alumni Lounge. This is the last chance for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to have their pictures taken for the yearbook. Contact Mrs. Marsh with any questions.
