This is just a reminder that there is a College Fair at Lyons Township High School on Monday, April 13th from 6:30-8:30 at the North Campus located at 100 S. Brainard Ave in LaGrange. Over 200 colleges and universities will be in attendance.

unless you have purchased a parking pass and turned in the proper paperwork at the beginning of the school year. If you do not have your Rockefeller pass displayed, your car will be issued a ticket.

 

ASVAB TEST:

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and are interested in potentially entering the military after high school, we are offering the ASVAB Test on Wednesday, April 15th at 8:00am in the Alumni Lounge. If you would like to sign up, please register with Ms. Englehart in Student Services by Tuesday, April 14th. If you have any questions, please see your counselor.

 

THERE WILL BE A BULLDOG FOR LIFE MEETING TOMORROW MORNING AT 7:30AM IN ROOM 175

And remember that on Thursday April 30, Bulldogs for Life will be holding RB's annual Pro-Life T-Shirt Day.  Join us as we promote the Pro-Life message by wearing one of two official t-shirts.  If you are interested in buying one, they are for sale for $3, but tomorrow is the last day to submit your order. Please contact Mrs. Swon in room 175 or her mailbox in room 170.

 

WHAT I WISH I HAD KNOWN - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH AT 7:00PM IN THE AUDITORIUM

Attention Sophomore and Junior students and parents. The Student Services Department will be hosting their annual "What I Wish I Had Known" night on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:00 P.M. in the auditorium. This program is for college-bound juniors and junior parents that are interested in the college search and application process. A panel of 3 current seniors and 3 senior parents will share their journey through the college planning process and offer some practical advice. We hope you can attend!

 

ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS!

Prom 2015 is quickly approaching!  Prom will be held on Friday, May 1st from 6:30-10:30 at the beautiful Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont.  Prom tickets are on sale at all lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Thursday, April 16th in the bookstore.  This Thursday is the absolute last day for prom ticket sales, so please plan accordingly.  Tickets are $80 each.  Please submit your table seating arrangement of 10-12 people when you purchase your prom ticket.


ATTENTION DAY OF SERVICE VOLUNTEERS:

Please remember to bring your signed waiver to school ASAP!  The Day of Service is quickly approaching, and you will not be allowed to participate without having turned it in.  You can return it to the main office, or to one of the conveniently located envelopes in any of your classrooms. All waivers must be turned in by this Friday.


CALLING ALL SENIORS:

Are you interested in performing during the May 6 Senior Awards Ceremony?  Auditions for senior students will be held on Tuesday, April 21st beginning at 3:20 in Room 155E (the Choir Room). We are looking for Instrumentalists, singers, dancers, actors or any other well-prepared performance.

IT’S NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK!

The library is once again hosting its Book Trailer Popcorn Party during lunch in the library, which will feature previews of all nominated titles on the 2016 Abraham Lincoln Reading Contest list.  Today’s Abe nominee is Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry. In a post-apocalyptic world where fences and border patrols guard the few people left from the zombies that have overtaken civilization, fifteen-year-old Benny Imura is finally convinced that he must follow in his older brother's footsteps and become a bounty hunter.
