CONGRATULATIONS TO THE VARSITY SCHOLASTIC BOWL TEAM
for their amazing performance at the Fenton Tournabout Tournament on Saturday. They finished 2nd out of 24 teams, and brought home a shiny new trophy, which is temporarily on display in Room #230. The team went 8-0 during the qualifying matches, and was defeated only in the championship game. Varsity now holds an unprecedented record of 22-2-1. The team was Captained by Chris Olszewski and Monika Janas, and is coached by Mr. Gibbons. Other team members included Alec Frank, Nick Jepson, Marly Santora, Bobby Peugh, David Buksa, and Remy Doornebos. Joe Jones performed well as captain of the "B" team, which went 4-1 in its first five games; Joe was third in the Tournament for tossups. Other major contributors to B team's victories were Cynthia Smith and Henry Scheffer.

ALL MODEL UN MEMBERS
attending the University of Chicago conference must attend the Tuesday, January 13 meeting at 7:15am in room 241. We will be discussing parliamentary procedures and how to turn in position papers. If you cannot attend, please see Ms. Cunningham!


BULLDOGS FOR LIFE
Bulldogs for Life will have a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13, before school at 7:25 in room 175. Come join us as we discuss upcoming Pro-Life events such as the March for Life and TeenSpeak. All are welcome.
