ATTENTION ALL FALL ATHLETES
You need to return to your regularly assigned PE class this week if your season is complete. If you do not return to your PE class, you will be marked unverified and will receive a detention.

CONGRATULATIONS TO HAILEY JURGENS & WAYNE MORRELLY
for qualifying for the IHSA Cross Country State Meet!

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS
The winter gymnastics season will begin Monday, November 10th at 3:30pm in the Gymnastics room. No previous gymnastics experience is necessary to join the team, only the desire to work hard and improve.

THE BOOK OF THE DAY IS RECOMMENDED BY
Ms. Edwards. She recommends The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls.
In this memoir, Jeannette's brilliant father, when sober, captured his children's imagination, teaching them physics, geology, and how to embrace life fearlessly. But when he drank, he was dishonest and destructive. Her mother was a free spirit who abhorred the idea of domesticity and didn't want the responsibility of raising a family. With parents like this, the Walls children learned to care for themselves.

INTERNET SAFETY DAY IS TODAY - 6TH HOUR
The purpose of this important event is to discuss how to be responsible digital citizens in an online environment. Juniors and seniors will participate in an assembly about securing their digital future, sophomores will attend a presentation about cyberbullying, and freshmen will take part in a hands-on session about creating a positive digital footprint. There will be an altered schedule that day, and you should ask your 6th period teacher which Internet Safety Day session to attend and where to go. A special note for freshmen: Bring headphones and your cell phone to your Internet Safety Day session.
