Saturday, September 27 from 11 am to 3pm at Navy Pier. This is a great opportunity to meet with college reps, learn about admission requirements, financial aid, college campuses, and course offerings. This is a free event but you must register before attending.

THE BOOK OF THE DAY IS RECOMMENDED BY
Mary Penckofer. She recommends So B It by Sarah Weeks.

After spending her life with a mother who has a mental disability and her agoraphobic neighbor, Heidi sets out from Reno, Nevada, to New York to find out who she is.
THIS WEEK, THE LIBRARY IS PROMOTING BANNED BOOKS WEEK The First Amendment states that Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, which means that the U.S. Constitution protects your freedom to read.
