Career Clusters - Career clusters link what students learn at RBHS with the knowledge and skills they need for success in college and careers.  They also identify pathways from RBHS to 2- and 4- year colleges, graduate school, and the workplace, so students can learn in school and what they can do in the future.

Occupational Outlook Handbook - When considering potential college majors, students may check out employment trends in the electronic version of the Occupational Outlook Handbook.  The entire handbook is searchable by keyword.

O*Net Online - This database includes information on skills, abilities, knowledge, work activities, and interests associated with occupations.

National Survey of Student Engagement – Annual information from scores of colleges and universities nationwide about student participation in problems and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development.  Provides an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college.

CareerBuilder.com - Provides a searchable jobs database, resume posting service, online job fair information, and industry specific employment information.  The college connection has internship information and employment resources for college and graduate students, as well as high school students who are planning ahead.

CISCO - CISCO's Education-to-Careers program was developed to provide interested individuals and educators with information on union apprenticeship programs. This site provides information on testing, application availability, working conditions, entry procedures, and skills necessary to succeed in a union apprenticeship program.

IDES - The Illinois Department of Employment Security website provides several online tools for career exploration, access to current labor market reports and other workforce and occupational information that can be useful in making career decisions.

What's Next Illinois - Offers a variety of assessments to gauge interests in certain careers.  The site also offers a wide range of tools for college planning, including help on picking a college and searching for scholarships.  Those already in the work force can get tips on transferable skills for new jobs.

Nursing Job Tips - This is a free resource with in-depth information on becoming a nurse.  Information on education requirements, job descriptions, salaries, job outlook and tips for getting a nursing job are provided.

Spa Beauty Schools - For aspiring spa professionals, the site offers detailed information on their educational options within their zip codes, informational resources, and articles highlighting career paths, profiles, as well as strategies for success.
