General Responsibilities:

The Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for implementation of programs relating to teaching and learning including curriculum, instruction, assessment and staff development.   In addition, the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction assists with the selection and assignment of instructional personnel, the coordination of special curriculum-related projects, and the supervision of technology services, including the development of the master schedule and oversight of the student data management system.  The Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction is also involved in the Instructional Improvement/Personnel Evaluation program, observing non-tenure teachers, tenured teachers, and program directors.  The Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction reports directly to the Principal and assists the Principal in the overall operation of the school.

General Responsibilities:

The Assistant Principal for Student Affairs is responsible for the supervision of student events, activities, and behavior, as well as the coordination of the student support system, which includes discipline-related functions and pro-social skill development initiatives.  In addition, the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs is in charge of all aspects of safety and security in the building, including oversight of the Crisis Plan and disaster drills, the scheduling and supervision of building operations, the selection and development of security personnel, and the coordination of annual projects and events.  The Assistant Principal for Student Affairs reports directly to the Principal and assists the Principal in the overall operation of the school.
